Girls Into Coding – New Website for a Community Interest Company

Having your own website is something all types of business and organisation can use to promote their services, including charities and social enterprises. Back in March 2020, we were approached by Helene, who runs Girls Into Coding with her daughter Avye, to design a new website to promote their workshops and services.

Client Brief – Web Design Services in Putney

Based in London, Girls Into Coding is a Community Interest Company, aiming to engage young girls aged 10 to 14 in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) activities, education and careers. They achieve this through hands-on workshops and events, giving young girls access to highly experienced mentors.

Helene got in touch with JJ Solutions about our web design services because they didn’t have a website yet. They needed the new design to showcase the Girls Into Coding story, helping to inform those who they want to help while attracting more support for their cause. It would also give them a platform to showcase what they do when looking for new partners and sponsors.

As you can see from the results, Helene and Avye now have a professional website to promote their fantastic mission. The web design incorporates a range of features, including a sign-up form for visitors to subscribe to the Girls Into Coding newsletter, a contact page, a donation button and events area.

Helene also required assistance to ensure the website’s wording flowed well to take readers through the Girls Into Coding story and engage their target audience. Therefore, she worked closely with one of our recommended copywriters who provided original content writing, proofreading services and expert advice to get the copy perfect.
